Flipboard Discloses Data Breach, Hackers Stole User Account Data

An infamous news and social media outlet on Sunday, Flipboard discovered a security breach, claiming that a hacker had access to some of its platforms.

The company says that an unauthorized user has entered to remove some of their information in the user's account.

The hackers took part on June 2, 2018, March 23, 2019, and April 21-22, 2019.

The company discovered a breach on April 23, 2019, when engineers pointed out a suspicious activity occurred on April 21-22, 2019.

The dashboard contains information about the user's account such as username, Flipboard name, security password and email address.

In addition, the dashboard also includes digital tags used to link their Flipboard accounts to this third party account.
